Welcome to Aspire Athletics at Hillingdon Athletics Track
Aspire Athletics delivers inclusive, fun grassroots children’s athletics at Hillingdon Athletics Track in collaboration with Hillingdon AC. Our programmes focus on teaching best practice in running, jumping and throwing, helping children develop strong foundations, confidence and correct movement skills from an early age.
Alongside our Run, Jump, Throw sessions for younger children, we offer a Speed Academy for Years 7–11, supporting athletic development for athletics and all sports, and setting children up to move well and enjoy sport for life.
We also offer fun cross country sessions and competitions. Please let your head coach know your child would like to compete.

Sessions
In our sessions we aim, over the term, to ensure the children have had the opportunity to try a range of athletics disciplines focussing on agility, balance & co-ordination in a fun and supportive environment. In addition if the local schools are attending activities such as cross country, sportshall, quad kids and district athletics we help prepare them for these in our sessions too.
A session always starts with a game, a lap around the 400m track and athletic warm up drills. The session will then either focus on sprinting, endurance, jumping or throwing. We also try to incorporate agility and strength exercises into the sessions. Our sessions finish either with a lap around the track or a team relay followed by some stretching.
